Kawhi Leonard and former Thunder forward Paul George were introduced as members of the LA Clippers on Wednesday afternoon, the first time George has spoken publicly since his trade from the Thunder.
George was traded to the Clippers on July 10 in a deal which sent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, five first-round picks and the rights to two first-round pick swaps to Oklahoma City. Leonard was an instrumental piece in getting George to Los Angeles, recruiting his fellow All-NBA forward to join him on the Clippers.
George opened his press conference by thanking the Thunder.
