Games I watched
(a.k.a. COMMONWEALTH THROWDOWN)
There wasn't much defense to speak of between New Zealand and Canada. Neither team started a rim protector, and Canada only has Joel Anthony on the bench. So both teams had absolutely no problem getting to the rim, or drawing two defenders and getting penetration. But New Zealand looked like the superior team early on. The long range shots were falling, and experienced players like Mika Vukona were making heady plays.
