In the minds of the people at Thunder headquarters, the best two-way player in this year’s NBA Draft is Stanley Johnson.
So says Stanley Johnson.
“I think they think I’m the best two-way player in the draft,” said Johnson, the former Arizona swingman, at last month’s NBA Draft Combine. “And that’s appealing to them, as it is to most people. They really like me.”
The question is whether Johnson will be around for the Thunder to select with the 14th overall pick. Most mock drafts have Johnson being taken in the top 10. But if he falls, Johnson could bring the best blend of offense and defense that the Thunder has ever had at the starting shooting guard position.
