Oklahoma City Thunder overcomes Memphis Grizzlies 114-102 as Westbrook dominates the fourth quarter

An infused Oklahoma City Thunder squad halted a three-game losing streak by outlasting the visiting Memphis Grizzlies 114-102.

Russell Westbrook’s commanding late performance defined the night’s proceedings. In addition to netting triple-double #25 of his season, Westbrook punished Memphis with 38 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists.

The six-time All Star’s surreal final-period included 19 points —and a pair of cold-blooded triples— to jolt OKC past a game-ready Memphis iteration in the teams’ third meeting on the year.

The Thunder has now won for the first time since Enes Kanter fractured his forearm vs. Dallas.

To accentuate Westbrook’s heroics, Oklahoma City’s bench added 45 points on torrid 16-of-24 shooting.
