Kyrie Irving made headlines earlier this week when he said he exited the Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the Thunder on Sunday prematurely for a rather peculiar reason: bedbugs.
Irving said the nuisances bit him while he was trying to get some sleep at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City the night before the Cavaliers’ 115-92 win. Irving left the game after playing just 9 minutes.
On Wednesday after the Thunder’s shootaround, Kevin Durant said he’s also stayed at the Skirvin Hilton. The Thunder star noted that he had a decidedly different experience from Irving’s.
“I stayed there for a month when we first got out there,” Durant said.
