The OKC Thunder may have started slow in this game, but boy did they ever finish strong. After falling behind by 13 points at halftime, OKC rode a remarkable third quarter to a 16 point lead to start the fourth.
If you’re thinking there must be a typo somewhere in there – there is not. The Thunder actually, sincerely won the third quarter 39-10, totally grabbing control of this game.
After allowing 24 free throw attempts in the first half – these touchy points of emphasis have got to go – the Thunder made a point of not fouling after half-time, and in fact allowed zero attempts from the line in the third.
