The Thunder is expected to sign veteran center and familiar face Nazr Mohammed into its 15th and final roster spot this weekend. Yahoo Sports' The Vertical first reported the news.
Mohammed, 38, played two seasons in Oklahoma City back in 2010-11, but hasn't appeared in the NBA this season. He played 23 games for Chicago last year.
Mohammed (6-foot-10, 221 pounds) has been spotted visiting Thunder practices this season and still has strong relationships with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Thunder front office. The 17-year veteran has career averages of 5.8 points and 4.7 rebounds with eight teams.
