The Thunder staged its end-of-season exit interviews on Thursday. Here are three quick thoughts from big man Steven Adams’ time in front of the media:
He knows his offensive limitations.
Adams has said previously he believes it’s a wasted possession if he takes a mid-range jumper or a 3-point shot. And even after a postseason in which his scoring was limited, Adams still doesn’t believe outside shooting is the answer.
“It’s still my role to do what I’m doing, if that makes sense,” he said. “Mid-range and 3-pointers aren’t in there. I could develop it … but then, that’s just for individual gain or whatever it is.
