The OKC Thunder probably weren’t supposed to win this game anyway. Fresh off one of the hardest games of the year the night prior featured a double-overtime gutsy win against the Utah Jazz. Moreover, heading into a game against one of the fastest teams in the league, the young Sacramento Kings, seemed like a recipe for disaster. And for most of the first half, that’s exactly what was going on.
Russell Westbrook got off to a hot start, scoring 18 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor to go along with six boards and four assists. But everyone else on the team–most notably Paul George–had trouble getting anything going as the rest of the crew combined to shoot 30.
