Enes Kanter isn't playing in the Thunder's preseason finale in Utah tonight. So Kanter wasn't made available to the awaiting Salt Lake City press at shootaround on Tuesday morning.
Billy Donovan says the move is all about rest, that Kanter is healthy enough to go but they figured it beneficial to keep him off that recently sprained ankle. But considering what happened the last time Kanter was in town -- he ripped the Jazz organization and then embraced a WWE type villain role as the crowd booed him throughout the game -- the Thunder brass at least views Kanter's lack of media availability as an added bonus.
