Semaj Christon stood in front of his locker after the Thunder's final preseason game last week. “Whatever happens, happens,” he said that night.
Then the weekend arrived. Christon couldn't sleep. One night before NBA teams had to cut rosters to 15 players, the 23-year-old guard was at home talking to himself.
“I sat there for a long time,” Christon told reporters Monday. “I don't even think I really went to sleep.”
Then Christon smiled.
“I was good though when I got the call this morning.”
Christon's NBA dream has finally come true. The Thunder has included Christon on its regular-season roster, completing his two-year trek to the NBA.
