PHILADELPHIA — Fresh off an active first quarter stint, Steven Adams subbed out, went down the sideline high-five line and grabbed a towel.
“(Wiping) my face,” Adams said. “So much sweat.”
Sometimes if you blink, you miss Russell Westbrook. Adams did. Right as he went to cool off, Westbrook ignited the Philadelphia arena with a ferocious drive and one-hand slam, cradling and cocking the ball back before uncorking it right on top of the rotating Jerami Grant.
In the Thunder's 111-97 win over the Sixers — officially clinching a playoff spot — it wasn't the only highlight.
