If size were any indicator of how well a player will perform throughout the season, then OKC Thunder center Steven Adams would be in prime position to dominate the league. Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple, but Adams nonetheless delivered a strong 2018-19 campaign and served as a central pillar for the Thunder’s team culture and on-court performance.
As the team’s premier center, Adams was a central cog that formed a foundation for Oklahoma City’s game planning on both offense and defense. He was a fortress around the bucket on defense, and he bullied his way to the hoop on offense.
