OKC Thunder: Paint points lead Thunder in 106-90 blowout of Blazers

Kevin Durant scored 24 points in just three quarters and six Thunder players reached double-digit scoring in a 106-90 blowout of the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

With the 3-point line unkind to the Thunder throughout the game, OKC went inside, finishing with 48 points in the paint, eclipsing its season average of 45. OKC also attempted more free throws in the first half against the Blazers (25) than it had in 15 games this season, finishing 28-of-37 from the line.

Three consecutive Damian Lillard 3-pointers on three Blazers possessions to end the second quarter cut the Thunder's lead from 17 to seven in under a minute, but the Thunder came out of halftime on a 10-2 run, pushing the lead back to 15 just over two minutes into the second half.
