Kevin Durant will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame on Nov. 19 in Tulsa. When concocting ideas for who would present him, a collaborative discussion landed on Russell Westbrook, Durant's teammate for all seven seasons in OKC.
"He didn't hesitate," Durant said. "It's pretty cool. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about me."
The two have quite the history together, from that infamous 3-29 start back in 2008 through the climb to NBA elite status. Together, the perennial All-Stars have led the Thunder to three trips to the Western Conference Finals in the past five years.
