Carmelo Anthony will come and go this week, riding into Oklahoma City for a one-night Wednesday engagement at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
It's Anthony's only visit, at least with the Knicks.
But with the Thunder offense riding a cold streak, and the Knicks' love affair with Anthony apparently cooling, too, it's hard not to consider what a long-term stay might look like.
In his 14th season, Anthony remains a high-level scorer. And as NBA.com's David Aldridge noted last month, a piece like that makes some sense on a Thunder team with two “near non-scorers in the starting lineup in Andre Roberson and Domantas Sabonis.
