Kyle Singler started every game his freshman season at Duke, averaging 13.3 points in 28.6 minutes. Those were college career-lows.
Over the next three seasons, he'd start 113 more times and become the fourth-leading scorer in the program's illustrious history, winning the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player in 2010, as he led the school to a national title.
Then Singler entered the NBA Draft, went 33rd overall to the Pistons and saw his first few seasons in Detroit play out much like his first few years at Duke. He played right away. He produced right away. Then he kept producing.
