OKC Thunder: Kevin Hervey signs to play in Russia

The Thunder has another two-way contract slot to fill before next season.

Forward Kevin Hervey, who spent the season as a two-way player for the Thunder, has signed with Lokomotiv Kuban in the Russian-based VTB United League.

The team, located in Krasnodar, Russia, announced the move Monday.

The Thunder selected Hervey in the second round (57th overall) of the 2018 NBA Draft. Hervey became the first player out of UT-Arlington to appear in the NBA.

After being limited to G League action in his first professional season, Hervey made his NBA debut this year.
