Steven Adams showed up to the Thunder's Halloween party this past weekend pumped up, figuring his version of the Joker from Batman -- face paint, nurse outfit and all -- would win the contest for best costume.
"I was fully committed," Adams said.
But upon arrival, Adams ran into a Russell Westbrook version of himself and soon realized second place was the best possible result. The Thunder's point guard dressed as the Thunder's center and stole the show.
"Well played," Adams admitted. "Top form. Good from him."
Westbrook's attention to detail was particularly impressive. He spent more than an hour perfecting Adams' forearm 'Funaki' tattoo, donned the long hair and mustache, while also remaining in character by attempting Adams' unique mannerisms throughout the night.
