Just eight-and-a-half seasons into his career, Kevin Durant is already being ranked among the best small forwards in NBA history.
ESPN.com ranked Durant the No. 4 small forward of all-time in a list unveiled Thursday. When asked about the list on Friday, Durant said his inclusion should be saved for down the line.
“I’ve always been a firm believer to wait until guys’ careers are over," Durant said. "... but a lot of people nowadays get caught up in the moment, get caught up in ‘what have you done for me lately?’ and they forget about the great players.
