With each passing week, it seems Kevin Durant and his surgically repaired foot are getting closer to full-contact hoops action.

On Sunday, Durant was back in Seattle, participating in Richard Sherman's celebrity softball game. The contest was played in Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners.
Durant reportedly got a big ovation from the crowd -- he played in the Emerald City his rookie season -- before experiencing mixed results in his softball debut. He dropped an easy fly ball in the outfield -- "The sun got in my eyes," he said -- but later redeemed himself by catching one.
