Kevin Durant corralled the second quarter kick-out pass with less than three seconds left on the shot clock on Thursday night, calmly set and replayed a scene Thunder fans have seen so many times -- that lanky rise, silky shot and accurate finish.
His first 3-point attempt of the night was his first 3-point make of the night. Nothing special. But in a wider lens, it was a benchmark moment. With the shot, Durant became only the 79th player in NBA history to make 1,000 3-pointers in his career.
"I didn't know that," Durant said. "I guess (it is special).
