After signing Deonte Burton to a two-way pact the OKC Thunder were left with one final two-way contract to give away. Some speculated it would be given to Daniel Hamilton before he earned a fully guaranteed deal from the Atlanta Hawks. Another sign pointed to P.J. Dozier. Rumors had it he would be back on a two-way deal after serving that same role a year ago for the Thunder.
Ultimately Dozier ended up on a two-way pact with the Celtics. So clearly after striking out twice, fans just came to the conclusion one of the trio of rookies would get the second two way deal.
