A 3-pointer ripped the net against Miami, the fourth for Alex Abrines. The Thunder bench jumped to its feet, and Anthony Morrow's arms immediately went up.
Morrow started rubbing both sides of his face with the back of his hands. Cameron Payne was at Morrow's side dancing and shadowing his motion. Abrines turned around to defend and smiled.
“That's the beard shake,” Morrow said. “I gave him that because he's got a nice beard.”
Abrines is an international rookie on a multi-year deal with a secure future. Morrow is a Charlotte-born veteran in the final year of his contract.
