In a perfect world, Billy Donovan would have tinkered more.
The Thunder coach would have liked a few more healthy bodies. He'd prefer to have had a longer look at some lineup combinations.
But for Donovan, Oklahoma City's six preseason games were about more than that. He's all about building cohesion, on the court and off it.
“I think the chemistry part that I always look at is, how is the chemistry working relationship-wise?” Donovan said. “Because if the relationships are really good, generally, you're able to have dialogue and communicate in a healthy way that allows you to solve problems that take place between the lines.
