Although this match seemed like an easy victory for the OKC Thunder the Golden State Warriors offered some drama as they made a late charge to try to steal the victory but came up short thanks to some veteran leadership and one big block.
With a 23 point lead, it was a typical situation where players forget any team on any given night is capable of coming back in a game. OKC took their foot off the pedal and the Warriors took advantage.
The easy answer on why it occurred could be cited as defense since the Thunder look to keep teams from scoring 100 points.
