Unlike the previous two preseason opponents the OKC Thunder play a team comprised primarily of youngsters. The Atlanta Hawks are in a rebuilding stage and as such feature a crew of up and coming talents.
Heading into this game the Thunder are riding a bit of a high given how easily they dispensed of inter division rivals the Minnesota Timberwolves. Although this should be an easier opponent the Thunder can’t afford to take the Hawks for granted as the youngsters will be keen to take down an opponent considered a power house in the Association.
That said, this is also Dennis Schroder’s first time playing against his old squad.
