The OKC Thunder looked like a shell of themselves in a loss to the Pelicans in Chesapeake Bay Arena this Friday.
They have played four games the last six days, changing time zones for each one and the fatigue showed. Anthony Davis said the team’s strategy coming into the game was to run and cut hard and hope the Thunder’s legs gave way.
To his point,14 minutes into the game the Thunder held a 16 point lead, and then got beat by 30 over the final 34 minutes.
The Thunder stopped closing out on shooters, were lazy getting around ball screens and looked sluggish off the ball on offense.
