There are typically many trade scenarios and rumors thrown around the day before the draft in order to move draft spots, clear salary cap space, or acquire assets. However, it isn’t often that an impactful trade consisting of established veterans is made. It seems like that is exactly what the Charlotte Hornets were pushing for according to Adrian Wojnarowski:
