In the first two weeks of the suspension testing of teams and players resulted in 13 positive COVID-19 tests. The OKC Thunder were at the center of the storm as their match versus the Utah Jazz was postponed due to news Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to contract COVID-19.
Another 12 players joined Gobert with positive results although not all names were made public. As the league passed the two-week point of the suspension no other players have been added to the list. This speaks to the self-quarantining players are conducting.
However, late last week journalist Doris Burke guested on Adrian Wojnarowski’s podcast advising she had also tested positive for the virus.
