OKC Thunder forward Deonte Burton showed us how good he is when he shut down one of the greats of the game in LeBron James.
Despite coming off the bench and averaging 8.4 minutes a game, his contributions to ensuring strong defensive back-up and living up to OKC’s high flying attributes should not go unnoticed.
His numbers this year are almost identical to those of last year. But in my opinion, good production not only comes from how well someone plays but the amount of time they’re given to prove it.
Thunder players such as rookie Luguentz Dort or Abdel Nader have improved and shown us what they are capable of because they are out on the court for longer.
