As the OKC Thunder hit the Alamo they were hoping to extend their two-game winning streak to three. The San Antonio Spurs had other plans however as they had intentions of ending a two-game losing streak.
In what we’ve become accustomed to when these two squads meet it was a see-saw battle with the lead constantly fluctuating back and forth.
San Antonio held the early lead after one quarter of 33-30 which witnessed several ties and lead changes. By the half the Thunder had rallied to take a 57-56 lead into the half. Unfortunately, in the third OKC suffered another of their brief scoring lapses which allowed the Spurs to pull ahead by eight points and they never relinquished that lead in the final frame.
