After pounding the Washington Wizards 134-111 in its last outing, the OKC Thunder reached 500 for the first time. Since its 0-4 start to the season, Oklahoma City have reeled off four straight victories and have done so in spectacular fashion.
With five players in double digits lead by Russell Westbrook‘s 23 points (10-16 from the field, 0-1 3-point, 3-4 free throws), the Thunder used a 44-point second quarter to build a 29-point lead going into half-time. The second quarter blitz saw OKC shoot 65.
