There aren’t many young guys as intriguing as Jonah Bolden. What he lacks in dependable skills, he makes up for in tiny flashes of everything from off-the-dribble playmaking to post moves to perimeter defense; basically all the tools you’d want from a hyper modern four. If you squint hard enough at some of his games, you’ll start to see the framework of something really special growing.
The only issue is–and always has been–about the value he provides in the moment. While he does have some incredible potential, he doesn’t do anything reliable enough to make a positive impact on the team.
