Moving on to Minnesota in the OKC Thunder 30 for 30 an extremely interesting candidate who would fit the squad is buried on the Wolves bench. In fact, why Tyus Jones has been stuck on Minnesota’s bench for the past few years is beyond me.
Not only is he such a clearly good basketball player, but the ‘Wolves have had all kinds of trouble trying to find a reliable back-up point guard, most notably trying to fill that hole with Derrick Rose, who’s two years past being washed. Granted, he had a somewhat decent performance in last year’s playoffs and can still be serviceable at times, but there’s no way he should be getting more run than Jones.
