OKC loses winning momentum as Suns outshine Thunder in Phoenix

PHOENIX — The Thunder claps were coming from Carmelo Anthony, his hands slapping hard enough together to sound like firecrackers.

The Thunder had played a flat first half Sunday at Talking Stick Resort Arena and trailed the Suns by nine. Energy was a must, and Anthony tried to muster some. It wasn't the first time and it wouldn't be the last.

The offense that fired in Los Angeles fell flat here, and the defense followed suit in a 114-100 loss to the Suns.

Devin Booker scored 26 points, T.J. Warren 23 and Dragan Bender 20 as Phoenix (16-26) made a season-high 17 3-pointers in 39 attempts.
