When asked if the Thunder’s style of play can be successful against a Western Conference playoff logjam of more shooters, more floor spacing and generally more cohesive offenses, coach Billy Donovan answered the question without really answering the question.
"It’s our model," Donovan said Tuesday, a day after the Thunder’s embarrassing 115-103 loss to the lottery-bound Memphis Grizzlies. "You have to play with how and what the identity of your team is."
The Thunder’s identity is wrapped in the talents of Russell Westbrook, who is mired in the worst shooting season of his 11-year career.
