Nick Collison was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in June 2003. Almost 15 years later, he’s still with the same organization, though the Sonics long ago moved to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder.
Collison was sidelined by injury his first NBA season, 2003-04, but he still made roots with those Sonics, including teammate Brent Barry. Barry played the last of his five Sonic seasons in ’03-04, then continued on with what became a 14-year NBA career. Now Barry is a broadcaster who works for TNT and NBATV.
Barry also hosts a podcast, NBA Soundsystem, on nba.
