Free agent forward Nerlens Noel has agreed to a two-year minimum deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources tell ESPN.
The second year is a player option.
The agreement was first reported by The Vertical.
Noel, drafted sixth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans (and quickly traded to the Philadelphia 76ers) in 2013, appeared in 30 games last season for the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 4.4 points and 5.6 rebounds. He dealt with a thumb injury that caused him to miss a lot of time, and was suspended five games in early April for violating the league's drug policy.
