Kerem Kanter watched from the Chesapeake Energy Arena stands on Christmas Day as his brother recorded a double-double in the Oklahoma City Thunder's loss to Chicago.
Less than three months later, Kerem gets to play on that court. The sophomore — and younger brother of Thunder center Enes Kanter — is a reserve forward on the No. 14-seeded Green Bay team that opens NCAA Tournament play Friday against third-seeded Texas A&M.
“It's really exciting,” Kerem said in a telephone interview this week with The Oklahoman. “How crazy is it? Out of all the arenas and all the cities, we're going to where my brother plays.
