Brian Morgan strategically posed his 11-month-old daughter in front of the massive Thunder murals attached to the Cox Convention Center facade. Morgan used a stuffed animal, goes by the name of Rumble, to capture Piper's attention.
A few minutes later, Dan Martin and Annette Murphy, a married couple about three generations older than Piper, stopped by to check out the depictions of their
basketball heroes. All 15 Thunder players are giant-sized on either the Cox Center, across Reno Avenue from Chesapeake Energy Arena, or the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, which sits next door.
It was picture time Friday.
