On July 1, the NBA Free Agency kicked off the 2017 offseason with a flurry of activity. July witnessed several super stars change locations and multiple signings. August found NBA Free Agency slow down with more specialist and reserve signings. Now, as NBA Free Agency enters it’s third month and creeps toward training camps many teams will look to fill in roster spots in preparation for season start.

August 20:
- Clippers sign Marshall Plumlee to partially guaranteed contract
August 21:
- Orlando Magic signed Adreian Payne to a 2-way contract
August 22:
- Rockets sign Demetrius Jackson on 2-way contract
- Pacers sign Alex Poythress to 2-way contract
August 24:
- San Antonio Spurs re-sign Manu Ginobili to 2-year $5 million deal
August 26:
- After months of haggling the Dallas Mavericks ink Nerlens Noel to a 1-year, $4.
