NBA Draft: Trevon Duval: Low-floor point guard

After a disappointing freshman season in which he went from potential lottery pick to a fringe second-round selection, Trevon Duval is entering the NBA draft. He comes in exceptionally raw on both sides of the ball and significantly further behind than you’d expect from a former McDonald’s All-American point guard.

Maybe he can land on a team with oodles of patience and resources to invest in Duval and turn him into a usable point guard, but at this stage he’s just not ready to be that player yet. Here’s why he still has teams looking at him:

Player specifics:

  • Height: 6’3″
  • Weight: 186 lbs
  • Wingspan: 7′
  • Position: PG
