The awards and accolades are numerous. Yet Villanova’s Jalen Brunson won’t be the highest drafted guard in the NBA Draft. In fact he won’t even be the highest drafted guard from Villanova. That honor will fall to the prospect I gushed over Donte DiVincenzo.
Still, like many point guards before him, being the most dynamic point guard in the NBA doesn’t guarantee success. However, with a well rounded skill set, reliable game and high I.Q he could end up as the longest serving in the class when all is said and done.
