Voting has officially begun for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, as per a league-wide issue press release and will continue until Jan. 18, 2016; the game itself will be played in the City of Toronto on Feb. 14.
Ballots will again be broken down into back court players and front court players, getting two and three votes (respectively) at that position. Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook are largely considered locks to make the roster. However, this separation does impact both superstars’ chances of being elected as starters.
Kobe Bryant, listed in the front court by the official NBA ballot, is playing his last season.
