LOS ANGELES — Russell Westbrook was in the middle of answering a question about his motto of "Why Not?," when the chants started.
This year's All-Star player media session is the first time fans were allowed to sit in. With L.A. loyalists less than 100 yards away seated in temporary bleachers, the chants grew louder as Paul George took his seat three podiums down from Westbrook.
The "We Want Paul" chant grew so loud, Westbrook had to cut off what he was saying.
“Just something back in middle school, leading into high school, me and my friends something that we used as part of staying positive," Westbrook said.
