When I read that the Oklahoma City Thunder signed Nazr Mohammed I was a little surprised. I looked at Mohammed’s career and it dawned on me: Sam Presti has not turned to a player who has career averages of 5.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game to fix the offense. It seems to be that he is doing two things with this particular signing.
First, Improving the front court defense. It is obvious to those who watch basketball that Enes Kanter has difficulties defending. Offensively he is awesome; a double-double machine and usually quite an efficient scorer.
