The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Thursday that they signed forward Michael Cobbins and guard Mustapha Farrakhan Jr., grandson of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
They did not disclose the contract details.
Robbins is an undrafted rookie who played three games for the Thunder’s summer-league team after three seasons with the nearby Oklahoma State Cowboys. In college, Robbins started 60 of 70 games at OSU, averaging 6.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 25.4 minutes per game.
Farrakhan, 28, has played for various NBA Development League teams and in Australia since going unselected in the 2011 NBA draft following four years with the Virginia Cavaliers.
