Strange Wednesday for Mark Cuban. He gets fined $600,000 for merely stating the truth. And that’s not the worst thing about his day.
Sports Illustrated reported Wednesday that Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks organization fostered an environment of disgusting sexual harassment, primarily from then-team president Terdema Ussery.
Who knows what will come of that? It’s one big mess and casts the Mavericks in an incredibly poor light. Maybe Cuban’s bottomless pit of cash will be summoned by NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
As it was, Silver fined Cuban for something much less egregious than sponsoring an Animal House culture.
