The Thunder made a small move at the trade deadline to move D.J. Augustin and Steve Novak in order to get Randy Foye to help with their shooting guard issues. This move saved about $3 million dollars this year and gave the Thunder a player who, by all accounts, is a tremendous locker room presence and a serviceable three-point shooter. The other benefit that this trade gave the Thunder was an open roster spot.
Despite Foye coming to the team, the Thunder unfortunately still have issues at shooting guard. In the last week, all the guards on the roster not named Russell Westbrook have played nearly a combined 68 minutes per game, scored 15.
